I didn’t really put much thought into a top 10, I spent maybe 10 minutes combing through my archives and selecting ones that I liked. Here they are in no particular order! (The photos are a mixture of film and digital, can you tell the difference?)

China morning market

The biggest trip I did this year was go to China. I did some street there and this is my favorite picture I took from that trip. I was walking in my grandma’s neighborhood and stumbled upon a outdoor market in the morning. Apparently it was the time of year when garlic was being harvested, lots of vendors were selling it in large bunches.

Harvesting shishito peppers

Speaking of harvest, here’s one from our home garden when we were harvesting shishito peppers. I like how the arms form leading lines to the peppers, which is where the point of focus is.

Neighborhood B&W 1

I enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood with my camera. Here’s my favorite taken of the neighborhood.

Wedding

One of my friends got married and I took the film camera with me to the wedding. Here is my favorite picture out of four rolls I shot! I snapped this at f/4 with a 50mm lens, right after the ceremony. I love their facial expressions; we were all given petals to throw at them as they walked past.

Docks at West Seattle Ferry at the Waterfront

Both of these were taken in different locations along the Puget Sound. For the second, there was a small beach tucked in next to the waterfront that I quickly went to, took a picture and slinked away.

Jefferson Park

One of the few clear days in winter I went to my favorite park in the city and took this shot. One of the reasons I love this park is because it has a giant community garden next to it.

Dominion cards
X playing Dominion

Both taken on foggy days, one in my neighborhood and one during a hike on Rattlesnake Ledge.

Jefferson Park

Hah, I had to end it with a portrait because I’m a sucker for taking these! Taken at a greenhouse in Tacoma.
